  • DETAILS

    A Day Around Aore Island

Depart the main jetty at 9:00 am and travel around Aore Island by traditional local working boat, passing quiet beaches, coconut plantations and small coastal communities along the way.

We’ll stop at a local family home, where you can meet island residents, sit together and learn about everyday life, fishing, food and traditions on Aore.

Lunch is prepared in traditional island style at a beach house and may include fresh fish or local dishes, lap lap cooked traditionally, seasonal tropical fruit and fresh coconut. What is served depends on what is fresh and available that day.

After lunch, there is time to swim, snorkel, walk along the beach or simply relax before continuing the journey around Aore Island and returning to the jetty at approximately 3:00 pm.

This isn't a staged resort excursion. It is a relaxed day experiencing Aore Island as locals know it, and no two tours are exactly the same.
